What
is the Nutrition Executive Study Group listserv?
It's an electronic discussion group that lets you interact by e-mail with other nutrition executives (VPs, directors, managers, etc.). Use the list to ask your colleagues questions, share news, and contribute to discussions on issues important to risk and safety professionals in the restaurant industry.
How
do I sign up for the list?
First, you must be eligible. You must work full-time in the nutrition, security or royalty assurance fields. Then subscribe
to the list here. We will let you know by e-mail once we have
added you to the list.
How
do I send messages to the list?
Once you join the list, you simply send e-mail messages to nutrition@lists.restaurant.org and your message goes to everyone who is subscribed to the list.
Can
I view past messages?
Yes. Click on the button below. When you reach the next
screen, enter your e-mail address and hit "Ok". (Note: As well as being able to
read past messages, you can also use this confidential Web site
to change the settings of your account or send messages to the
list.)
How
do I unsubscribe?
To leave the e-mail list,
simply send a message to nutrition-unsubscribe@lists.restaurant.org.
Be sure to send this message from the e-mail address you want
to remove from the list.
List etiquette
Here are some guidelines we have established to make the Nutrition Executive Study Group's e-mail list as productive, friendly and useful as possible.
1.
Encouraged Subjects
Please DO use the list to post your succinct questions and answers, announcements about events, and input on discussions of workplace issues.
2.
Discouraged Subjects
3.
General Netiquette
If you refer your fellow list members to other Web sites, include
the "http://" part of the URL in your e-mail messages.
This makes it easier to readers with smart mail applications to
link to that Web address. Example: Use "http://www.restaurant.org"
instead of "www.restaurant.org."
4.
Please Avoid Sending E-Mail Attachments
Don't send e-mail attachments to list posts. Instead, offer
to provide the data to those who request it, or put it up on the
Web for voluntary download. Not everyone has the ability to read
attachments.
